  As a vegan I was initially unsure if I would be able to eat anything at The Munkey's Fist. There were no clear options on the menu, but the chef came to greet me personally and made a custom version of one of his dishes to suit my vegan diet. The noodle dish I had was great!

  One week later I stopped by and as it turns out he did just as he promised. The Munkey's Fist now has about a 10 item menu featuring all vegan dishes, some of with are gluten free.

  Nice decor, pretty good service, and a diverse menu. I must confess I do find a few of the dishes unimpressive (some of their tomato sauces for example seem to aspire to be a marinara/salsa fusion and just don't cut it for me), but their selection is quite good none the less, so one bad dish needn't spoil your experience. Their beef dip in particular is quite good and their house salad stands out, if for no other reason than adding beets.

  Just had lunch here with some co-workers and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The owner and the chef were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it. Everyone in our party had a great experience. Atmosphere is comfortable too. I work downtown and appreciate an option like this so close by. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

  Restaurant wasn't very busy tonight but the food came out hot and was one of the best meals my girlfriend and I have had in a while. I had the stuffed eggplant parmesan which was amazing! My girlfriend had the crispy chicken burger which was also fantastic.

  I've come here on several occasions now, sometimes to just have a few drinks with friends and sometimes to grab a quick bite, and have never left disappointed. If this place carries on like this, the summer business will be booming and standing room only. Bhavesh, Jordan, Misty, Lisa and others are all awesome, catering to customers needs as soon as they walk in. Check this place out and drink the Wings on Fire, you'll leave happy :)

  Following my meal the chef came out again and asked for my feedback. I gave some suggestions which were well received. He said he planned to create a vegan and gluten free menu to accommodate more diets.
