  So a friend of mine decided to do the Rita Challenge (6 patty burger with poutine - you have 1 hour to finish it, can't throw up, can't share it with anyone, if you don't finish it, it costs $45.) My friend completed the challenge in 40 mins and they gave him a shirt 10 minutes later. He waited about 15 minutes to let everything settle, drink some water and then went to the washroom to wash his hands. While in the washroom he threw up, the general manager (who is female) followed him into the washroom and asked him if he threw up, which is did. HOWEVER, the challenge was over. They clearly acknowledged that once they gave him the shirt for his victory. They then charged him the $45 because he "broke the rules." How is this any different from him completing the challenge, getting the shirt and leaving and throwing up outside. I can understand paying if he threw up during the challenge, BUT the challenge was over. Apparently the management at this restaurant freaks out when someone completes the challenge and goes out of their way to try and make them fail. I'm really disappointed in how this was handled by the general manager. It's $45, you overcharge for food as it is so you're definitely not losing any money. Extremely disappointed that the restaurant didn't honour the challenge and ruined the moment for myself and all my friends. Also, why is a female general manager following her customers into the men's washroom?! Do better Canadian Brewhouse. Besides the super bitchy general manager, our server was awesome and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool.

  Great atmosphere for a relaxed night out. The decor is really authentic to Canada which is nice to see.

  What a great night! We just finished up at this location (we're just visiting) and it was awesome! The service was great, Kara was our server... she is hands down one of the best servers out there! Our drinks never went dry, she stopped by quite frequently, her choices for the food were perfect and she never stopped smiling. The place was full, great atmosphere! We will be back before we leave! Go here, ask for Kara! :)

  The food was good overall. The prices are decent for what you get and there's a big variety of pub food to choose from.

  Normally love going to the brewhouse but last night was pretty bad. Went with 4 other friends for wing night, took awhile to get a clean table and seated. Drinks tasted watered down. When we finally got our wings about an hour after arriving, 4 of the 9 orders we had were the wrong flavours. No biggie we just let our server know. Waited about 15mins for our order to be corrected only to be brought the wrong flavours again. Needless to say may be awhile before I'm back.

  Stopped in for an early supper on a Monday evening as we were in the area. Not many customers so expected to be served quickly however not the case. Took quite a while for the server to acknowledge us. I ordered the Lettuce Wraps which were OK, lots of lettuce leaves. They came with a side of house made Asian slaw. The coleslaw was super spicy and I couldn’t eat it. My friend had the Miss Vickie’s Fish and Chips. Fish was good but fries were nothing special. Items were pricy for quantity received. Was not impressed with the food.
