  A fantastic local diner in the heart of Rutland. Go here often for brunch and it's always excellent, with well priced & filling portions. Tends to be pretty busy on weekends so expect to wait for a table if you arrive closer to noon, but you can always check out the weekend market in the parking lot if it's in season!

  My girlfriend and I came in for a late brunch on Sunday, January 7th around 2:20 pm. We were received by the server/hostess in a very rude manner. She did not greet us, she just asked "for two?" and lead us to our table where she dropped off 2 menus. Before we could sit down she rushed to the kitchen to inform the cooks that there were "2 new open" we couldn't quite make out what the cooks said but as our table was close to the entrance and kitchen we observed their negative reaction. Our server then replied to the kitchen "Yes, Sadly...." as she left the kitchen back towards her other tables. My girlfriend and I both work in the service industry as servers and both can understand some level of frustration when guests come in close to closing time, but we figured we could quickly get in and out before close considering we had 40 minutes. We both felt very uncomfortable even being there so we immediately left. We used to love coming in for your breakfast but after this experience we "sadly" won't be coming back.

  We love my neighborhood. Great breakfast, our own pot of coffee and the best staff. We go every time we are in town

  The restaurant itself is nice with plenty of parking. Inside clean but it is a little cold for my liking in the restaurant. The food was very good. I've had breakfast here on a few occasions and till now have e never been disappointed with the food. I've also been here for lunch and have never had a bad meal. In my opinion a good place with good food at a reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out.

  Home made. Everything on their menu is amazing. And staff whose service is extraordinary. Exactly why I'll never leave Rutland for breakfast, brunch or a good weekend lunch. This place makes it hard to drive downtown or anywhere else for that matter.
