Love seeing cities protect valuable wetlands. Although small this area is dense and provides a wide range of wildlife refuge. Though our visit short we spotted a number of different species from reptiles to water foul.

It is a very calming environment. I felt embraced by the beautiful old Willows. The trail is easy. The first time I got lost when I went off it. I thought I would cut across or find another way back. I didn't have my Google map that time. Had to take the long way home. It's a beautiful little diamond hidden in good old Rutland.

Fabulous natural park area for families to explore. Pets welcome on leash.

A fun little jewel. Nice wetlands with an abundance of ducks. Great place for birds and turtles too. It can smell a little in the Summer due to all the birds and stagnant water. Trails circle around the ponds, with a couple bridges. Plenty of willows to climb and benches to not. There's a playground somewhere in there making it ideal park to explore with kids. Stroller/wheelchair friendly.

Awesome ponds with ducks and redwing blackbirds. Has a playground suitable for small kids. Usually pretty quiet.
