  Not impressed! This guy is unprofessional. His prices are out to lunch, quotes are over $1000 above his competitors for the same work. I wouldn't trust these guys with a stainless steel ring that I purchased at Spencers gifts in the mall. Highly suggest you guys look elsewhere.

  Funny how a review mentions a steel ring, because I designed a ring and had it 3d printed in bronze steel which I took in to Sandberg's Jewellery a week and a half ago. As much as I don't like writing bad reviews about an old local jeweller I can't help but feel like I was tossed aside. I brought in my ring to see if I could have two gems burnish set in my ring, the first thing he does isn't to take a good look at my ring, measure it or ask what it's made of, instead he immediately starts trying to sell me emerald diamonds, the most expensive option. He tells me he'll have a laser technician look at it and that he'll call me within a day or two because it may be a tricky thing to get done, he quotes me a price and I leave it with him for a few days before I call enquiring about the ring. I'm asked my name and told that they'll look into the ring and call me back that night, still no response. I wait a week and decide to go back in, their I'm met with the same response as before, told that the laser technician hasn't been in and that they'll call me back in a day or two (my cell hasn't received any missed calls). Finally fed up and having waited another 4 days I go back in where he tells me it couldn't be done for the quoted amount and that it may be possible for $200 dollars more, but he assumed I wouldn't want that. I've decided at this point I don't want to do business with them and ask if they have the specific gems I wanted in stock so I could buy them and perhaps find another place to do it or try myself, oddly enough they don't have the size in the gem I need, how would they have put any gems in if they didn't have them to begin with? I'm glad I held my anger in while at his shop but it was tough, not to mention I've spent the last 20 minutes scrubbing my ring trying to get the permanent marker off my ring where he decided on my last visit to be super nice and thought he'd see where the gems could be placed, he had to do all the measurements on my last visit, why weren't these written down? I can recall off the top of my head all the measurements. Just so so so upset at how poorly this business is run and how they treat their customers, this is 2015 if you don't have the decency to call when you say you are perhaps shoot out an email, I shouldn't have to check in every few days to see if you're doing your job.

  Had three rings I wanted melted down into a wedding band for my Nephew they were extremely sentimental rings and Sven offered to make the ring in front of me and guarantee that the gold was from my old rings. He make a beautiful wedding band and engraved the names on the inside of the band for me and it was a beautiful wedding band for my nephew. Cant thank the man enough and the quality was exception and was really neat to see an artist at work making this ring for me. Not many true goldsmiths out there but this is one of them. Going back everytime with any business I need done with gold.

  Extremely informative visit. Learned a lot about rings, diamonds, techniques and how to have a ring designed. Sandberg is an artist, and I look forward to having a ring made.
