  Wanted to get two custom rings made for my 25th anniversary. Took in a number of pictures of what I was looking for. John met with us and made some small changes to the pictures to improve how the rings would look on my fingers as well as using the stones that I had. We purchased a one carat diamond from them for my new engagement ring. The customer service was outstanding from everyone including the owners John and Kim. My rings are beyond amazing and I am very happy with the work. Would recommend them for both custom work and repairs. Definitely not a cookie cutter jewellery store!!

  Their customer service has been first class, and as I am in a service industry myself, I really appreciate the way they operate and bend over backwards to make sure you are nothing but thrilled with the end product.

  I can’t say thank you enough to Kim, John and team for creating the ABSOLUTE PERFECT custom Engagement ring for my now Fiancé. Not only did they search high and low for the diamond I was looking for, but they managed to get it at an incredible price. John also used his top tier skills and crafted the setting EXACTLY the way I had envisioned it to be.

  So incredibly thrilled with European Goldsmith! The phone service was excellent. The in-person service was excellent. The location is excellent. The free off-street parking is excellent. But most importantly, my rings are stunning and were repaired THE SAME DAY! I could not be more impressed and will take my future business there without hesitation!

  I have nothing but good things to say about European Goldsmith. When I was looking for an engagement ring, I did a great deal of research and must have visited nearly every jeweler in Kelowna. For me, European Goldsmith came out on top. Everything from the selection to the service was first rate, and I am very happy with the decision I made (so is my partner!)

  I have doubts about their competence. I recently lost an emerald in a ring that was valued at $2900. It had 3 emeralds, 6 blue sapphires and 6 good diamonds. The emerald I lost was obviously not very expensive. I first took it to European Goldsmiths who took over a day to respond and gave me an estimate of $800 to $1200. They said they would have to send it away for repair and the finish on my 18 kt. gold may not be the same anymore. Not only did the price seem unreasonable but this comment on the "finish" seemed strange to me also. I got my ring back and took it to the Bench. They said they would find a stone the same size and quality and get back to me. The quoted me $280 which seemed much more reasonable given the appraised value. They honored their quote and did a fantastic job.
