  I am very impressed with the quality of the renovation performed by the new owners of this fantastic Lower Mission salon. I've had Ali, cut my hair a couple of times now, and couldn't be happier with the great job that he does. My hair has never looked better!

  My hairdresser worked in this salon for a few years until she took a break to have a baby. I found the atmosphere to be very respectable and friendly. All of the girls that work at Poise are very sweet and the conversations in the salon were always respectable and clean. For me, that makes a big difference in my experience.

  They have a lash bar and a tanning booth. The booth is easy to use, cleaned regularly and usually there is not wait.

  The only thing that is sometimes an issue is parking. Be sure to leave enough time to possibly park across the street at Starbucks, grab yourself a drink and walk over:)

  I wasn't going to do this because I dont like bashing people but It is going to cost me A LOT of money and take a lot of time to fix the damage that was recently done at this place (formally known as BLACK DIAMOND BEAUTY). I went in for microblading for the first time so I didn't know what to expect. I was a little thrown off that she wasn't wearing a mask and that she drew my brows freehand and that she didn't use any pain gel but i was too excited and just went with it. I kept saying, after she showed me the outline ,that it looked crazy...she assured me it would be fine after a week and i was stupid enough to believe her

  If you are in the market for a new look, or just want to be pampered, give this place a try! Having the company of their little K9 mascot (Meemu) is worth visiting for alone.

  I've never been happier with a hair dresser or salon atmosphere. My hair dresser Candice does wonders with all hair types! All my friends have started going to her and everyone is so relieved to have found her. Great prices and always a happy bright eveironment. Specializes in tape in extensions as well!

  They recently did a bit of a make over on the shop. It's very clean and bright.
