  I ordered an online gift card for my 16 year old Son on September 1st. After speaking with him, he advised that he hadn't yet received the e-card. I called American Eagle this morning and spoke with Miranda. It was some of the best customer service I have ever received when calling in for an issue like this. She was polite, apologetic, sincere, and quick. She resolved the solution in under 6 minutes, and it was an absolute joy to deal with her.

  Not pertaining to the physical store...I ordered over $200 of goods online, and received a sweater with the security tag still attached. I do not live in a location where I have access to a store to have it removed. I have been waiting for compensation for a month for the mistake on behalf of the company, but haven't received anything (though I was told it would be sent my email, and then by mail). It's now at a point where I am not willing to send the garment away (a knit sweater) because by the time I receive it back, it will be summer!!! What an absolute waste of time, and every representative I talked to flat out refused any kind of monetary compensation...just telling me I needed to mail it at my own cost and be refunded shipping AFTER, or wait until I can get to a store. After much nagging, I was offered a 20% off coupon which I never received. I will never be shopping within the American Eagle family ever again!! As someone who has been in customer service over 10 years, this company is a JOKE! Terrible values!
