  National was able to bail me out on a no notice rental. The Kamloops agent could not have been more helpful in getting me into a car when my own had broken down. The Kelowna staff were equally helpful and friendly when returning the car. Highly recommend them to anyone.

  Do NOT trust National Car Rental if you intend to use AirMiles. Better yet, stay away from National altogether. Their agreement states that you can use up to 3 AirMiles eCode Vouchers, each worth $20 on every rental. National denied the usage, even though the website has 3 fields to enter the voucher numbers! A call to National customer service indicated a cheque would be mailed to me as compensation. A month later, no cheque! Another call indicated my claim had been denied!!! No reason. No recourse. This company does not have the integrity to honour their agreements with business partners, let alone customers. Rent from ABN – anybody but National.

  Do not trust this rental company! I returned my vhecial at during the night. They had no extra staff on so they couldn’t do a walk around after I return the van. The following day they called informing me there was vandalism damage done to the van while in their lot under their possession. Since they never followed proper procedures I got charged because I didn’t have any proof and they conviently don’t have any servailence cameras. I feel like I got scammed so everyone be careful.
