    Jason, the service advisor assigned to me was fantastic! It was my first dealing with a dealership and up until this point I'd only heard negative things about going to a dealership for repair work. Well, I'm happy to say that Jason changed my mind! He was very patient and understanding of my situation, even reduced my bill slightly to ease my pain (purchased a second hand vehicle from Auction World and turns out the necessary repairs were super expensive).

    I'm giving this review only 4 stars because I was not impressed by the girl who answered my initial phone call. I'm newer to Kelowna and when I typed in Mazda dealership into Google, it showed me Kelowna Motors. I didn't want to ASSUME that meant it was the Mazda dealership because Google isn't always accurate. So when I called to make an appointment, I immediately first inquired if they dealt with Mazda and the gal's response was, "Well yes, this is a Mazda dealership so we only deal with Mazda." The tone in which she said it didn't help either. I replied with a laugh and said okay well I wasn't sure that why I was asking because it's not clear online. To which I received silence on the other end of the phone. This, of course, made me feel embarrassed. Since then I've dealt with 2 other dealerships and both had people with very warm phone personalities answering the phone. Maybe she was just trying to be efficient and get an appointment booked for me asap, but anyone can do that. What's key is doing that at the same time as being warm and friendly.

    Whenever I am reading google reviews, I try to weigh the varied opinions. Subjective opinions authored by those who can neither spell nor articulate a reasonable sentence speaks volumes.

    Would be a 5 if the car had truly been detailed before we picked it up after buying it. There were streaks on the inside of the windshield and on the review mirrors.

    Can't say my experience over the past 4 years has been great. I like getting my car serviced at the dealership I purchase it from to ensure things are done right with proper Mazda parts but this is getting ridiculous. First, tried to negotiate for a couple small things when purchasing a brand new car (weather floor mats and tinted windows) salesman said no, I still bought the car because I liked the product. Find out later they extend this to other customers (and I knew the guy). Second, service team is a special group of people. I tend to have more of an argument with them than anything else when something is wrong. I find them to be unresponsive and unwilling to help except when it comes time to pay. On one servicing, I was completely misled on total cost as the guy told me a total of about $200 but when I showed up total bill was over $400. Asked parts guy for a quote on tires and new rims never received anything, almost as if he didn't care to send it out or even look up anything to give me options on what was available. The final straw here is just recently I dropped my car off for its regular service and said there was something wrong with the fan in the AC unit. I get a call back saying I need a new filter so I say go for it. Get the car back and it's still making the same noise. Kind of wondering if they even tested it or were just looking for an easy charge. Not to mention I asked someone to take a look at the car to give me an estimate on a trade in...nothing was done and had to ask again when I got there. It's been 24 hours and still no word from them. Needless to say this will be the last Mazda I own :(

    I have been shopping around for an MX-5 for a couple months. Living out in the lower mainland, there are plenty of Mazda dealerships but none come close to the customer service I had received in Kelowna.
