    Went in to grab a couple items. The staff all ignored me and continued to chat amongst themselves. When I got to the register the person running it didn’t greet me. Just looked at me with a weird look until I said. “Just these three items please” I was told at that point I needed a membership. Which is kind of annoying as I’m alreay spending 80.00 in a store with super rude staff. The staff continued to tell me that prior to them Kelowna had no options for outdoor gear, had to go to the USA?? and I was in such a state of disbelief, I paid my five dollar membership purchased my items and next time will order off the magical World Wide Web for a fraction of the cost. Management should work on training staff in customer service and delivery of information at the register.

    Great location, with lots of free parking. New contemporary building. Good selection. Well laid out. It's easy to find what you are looking for. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

    Having been a member for over 20yrs I've been pretty disappointed by the quality of staff at most MEC stores lately, yet to have a positive staff interaction in Kelowna poor training and attitude towards service. Cleanliness not great either, bathrooms were atrocious.

    BIg Thanks to Ben!! I had an issue with Snowshoes that I purchased a few years ago. They were unable to be repaired. He was extremely helpful and very patient in dealing with my exchange. He definitely went above and beyond!! Outstanding customer service!! I highly recommend MEC for all active lifestyle needs.. Extremely happy with my MSR snowshoes!!

    Love the store! the cashier was super nice and helpful. Was looking for a backpack for my mom. They guy that helped us did not know anything and wasn't of any help, did not seem to be enjoying working at all. We eded up using the computer ordering it online.
