  Why? Understaffed, overpriced, any appointkent for plannong or investment becomes an opportunity to upsell the hell out of you, and when you genuinely ask for help with something straight-forwardly proven -- like Identity Theft, for example -- they turn their backs and seek any reason to shirk their responsibilities as a service provider.

  I have lived, worked, and had bank accounts in 5 different countries; not only is CIBC terrible, but this branch is particularly crappy.

  Worst CIBC branch ever. I made an application, they collected all info, but didn't respond even after one month. I followed up on my application, I was told that another representative will look into my application, he asked the same information I had submitted previously. It has been over a month and still no answer. I called the branch and left voicemail three to four times but never received a call back.

  Expect a 25+ minute wait. This has been my primary branch for 2 years and I can't remember a single time I haven't waited in a long line. Ive even tried to go to this bank when it first opens in the morning and there is a line up outside the door with 10 people trying to do the same thing. 1 or 2 tellars for the amount of people that use this branch is criminal. Switching banks I've had enough.

  Unbelievable wait times makes you want to switch banks. Get more tellers!!!! 27 people in line and only 2 tellers absolutely ridiculous.

  Been a customer of cibc for over 25 years. During this time I've had branches in 2 provinces and 4 different cities.. By far, this branch SUCKS.. The lineups are obscene. 9 or 10 wickets, yet only ever 2 or 3 tellers on. This is supposed to be a main branch for kelowna. Today I was in line with a lady who worked at this branch for 10 years.. She was even complaining about the ridiculously long waits.. For the amount of money we pay to this bank this is ridiculous.. Shame on CIBC.. Clearly our time is not important to this bank..
